Short version… please allow us to have an option to have the metadata stored to how it was before (in the xml files)… This also allows us to do edits that you cant do in plex (like the cast of the show) Long version… I really don’t like that all the metadata is stored in a single file that you cant…

plex already supports xml (or did if they removed it) i know i can have plex read nfo files with a plugin called lambda… but it requires having library on something other than Plex’s Agent (switching agents makes my whole library refresh metadata) and converting the xml files i have to the nfo requ…

plex used xml files to store the metadata before it was moved to the DB file with everything else. it was not a 3rd party plugin or anything
