Ordering search results

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639

Search results are becoming difficult to sort through. If I search for “Ghosts”, the first result is an Album (title). What follows is where the trouble begins. I’m given ten-or-so results that involve the word “ghosts” is their episode title. This is followed by two Show-Titles of “Ghost”.

Wouldn’t it be better to organize search results in a top-down heirarchy? I.e. Movie/Show titles, Album titles, followed by track/episode titles?

The same problem exists. As an example, searching on “Ghosts”, the “More Results” appears to be the same sort order prior to going to the “more results”. However, when I go this route, I can then select “Movies & Shows”. I would (again) expect that results would ordered by Movies and Show-Titles followed by Episode titles. This is not the case. Instead, I receive 14 episode titles and then I see 2 TV Show titles and 2 Movie titles. These are followed by more episode titles. It’s just a jumbled list of search hits.

It does not appear that there is any thought given to organizing search results It’s not an issue on narrower search parameters, but search is useless when you are going to get more than a few hits and you have to weed through them.
