Backed up some old DVDs of mine that come with extra behind-the-scenes footage, trailers, tv spots, interviews, etc. All of the files are saved as mp4 files and placed into a folder called Z:/movies/movie-name/ but every single file like tvspot01.mp4 is playing in the MOVIES folder of Plex as it’s own movie. Is there a way to add content so that it shows up as EXTRA content under the movie listing in Plex?

My personal favorite:
A Movie Library/
…Movie Name (YEAR)/
…Movie Name (YEAR)
…Movie Extra Name-behindthescenes
…Movie Extra Name-trailer
…Movie Extra Name-deleted
…Movie Extra Name-short
…Movie Extra Name-interview
…Movie Extra Name-featurette
…Movie Extra Name-scene
The Movie Extra Name can be anything you want - the more descriptive the bettter - but the ‘-tag’ has to be exactly as shown with no space between the Movie Extra Name and the ‘-tag’
Do check to make sure your MP4 file contains no Bogus Embedded Title, or visit:

and Drag and Drop Local Media Assets to the bottom of your Agent Lists - Everywhere! Leave it checked (so your Movie Extras will work), but demote it to the bottom of the lists.
After a Refresh (hopefully), if successful Plexweb will show:
The various Plex Apps will all be a little different in how they display the extras, many with just a List under what looks like a Film Clip icon on the left. Some are more cryptic, but should be there somewhere if your client supports Extras.
Thank you so much!
