OTA and CableCard Tuner

I’ve been researching online but haven’t had any luck yet… Does a tuner exist that works with Plex DVR and Live TV that supports OTA and CableCard in one unit?

Reason being is I’m not set on committing $5/month for a CableCard, if my OTA signal is almost as good (if not better). Seems like somewhat of a gamble to really test the waters.

Any suggestions?

No, I don’t believe that there is a combo OTA/Cablecard unit. It would require 2 coax connections since it would have 2 different sources.

Buy an HDHomeRun Connect (or whatever is your choice) from a store with a really good return policy. Amazon is usually good for that. Worst case, you spend $5-$10 in postage to ship back the item and get a refund.
