OTA Pauses in Plex but not in other apps

I’m trying to figure out why OTA live tv pauses about every second, resumes, and repeats continually. And what Plex settings to change or how to troubleshoot the problem.

The setup is a nVidia Shield Pro and a HD HomeRun Connect, all wired ethernet, Shield SSD external storage, HDMI connected TV.

OTA live tv channels do display without those sync problems if the HD HomeRun or LiveTV apps are used, just not in Plex.

Suggestions appreciated.

Can only sugguest you gather server and app logs and see what they report when the issue occurs.

Update: I may have brute force solved the problem by stopping the Plex Media Server, uninstalling and re-installing the HDHomeRun app. Then of course starting the Server back up first without the HDHomeRun app and then with it.

I had allowed the HDHomeRun app to update itself without any consideration for a running Plex Media Serve after noticing an update was available in the app info.

Besides reverting to defaults in the process, that did seem to be the solution.
