OTA Tuning Issue - Multiple Cities and Network Overlap

I’ve recently put up a pair of antennas - one aiming at each of the local broadcast markets. I am situated in between the cities so I get good reception from both antennas. Each antenna is connected to a separate HDHomerun Connect tuner.

The issue I am running into is related to network overlap. For example I get ABC on 7.1 but I also get ABC from the secondary market on 12.1. My guide works ok - I can see both 7.1 and 12.1.

What I would like to be able to do is tune to 7.1 when I select that channel in the channels grid and tune to 12.1 when I select that channel. This isn’t what happens for me. I tune to 7.1 no matter what - whether I select the entry for 12.1 or 7.1 The same thing occurs on the other networks where I have multiple ota sources. Thus I effectively can only tune one of the two options for most networks. Is there something I can do to fix this? I think the problem is related to the thread below but my issue is slightly different as the epg data is working just fine.

What you probably really want to do is turn off the duplicates on HDHomeRun’s themselves via the web app.

You can select specific channels, times, quality, complete recordings, etc, by clicking the advanced options when setting the recordings, you will need to scroll down while in the advanced section of the show recording popup menu (bottom left corner when it asks where you want it placed) to see the channel, time, etc.
If you mean for watching live channels, I’m not sure how, I’ve got to many recordings set to watch much live.

Thanks for the replies. This issue is with live tv so the advanced settings tweak does not work. I should note that there is no direct overlap. For example, I have already disabled 12.1 on the weaker antenna. The overlap occurs on different channels that are associated with the same network. (7.1 and 12.1 are both ABC)

Shutting off the duplicate networks will work but it is frustrating that I can’t pick between the two. Some days I get better reception out of one market as compared to the other and since we are talking about different channels it seems like I should be able to choose between the two.

You can/should be able to do this. Edit the recording setup and go to the advanced options.
Check out LIMIT TO CHANNEL and you should see the two channels listed there.
