Partial Library on Apple devices

I did update to the latest macos beta and I am still having these issue including the crashing.

OK. I was talking with one of our Apple devs and they said it seems like it may be calling the wrong library types for some reason. I did think the crashes stopped for you for some reason so thanks for reminding me of that and the new set of logs

Realized you do not seem to have Debug logging enabled. Can you please enable that and get the logs again the next time it crashes. ( Don’t enable verbose)

I checked and it is enabled.

hmm. They are definitely not in logs. It would have a bunch of DEBUG lines not just the INFO WARN, etc lines.

Plex_Media_Server_log

Can you restart your server and see it they start showing up
like this from my server?

Plex_Media_Server_log_and_Plex_Media_Server_log

This is right after a crash.

hey. devs are investigating the partial library and think they may actually need to see verbose logging in this case.

So the ask is that you

  1. enable versbose logging in the server.
  2. reproduce the issue with the library loading empty on iOS or Apple TV
  3. disable verbose logging
  4. get the server logs and the player logs again.

Any update

Devs are still trying to figure it out. One of the devs mention that they say a bunch of errors when it looks like you were using Infuse ( which I understand you using if the regular app is not working.) I did want to confirm or not if you are having issues with Infuse if you are indeed using it.

This all started before using infuse. I only started using infuse when Plex started having this issue. Infuse was ment to be a temporary fix. I am not having any issues with infuse.

I am still having this problem on ios and tvs.
