I have a raspberry 2 with Pasplex V1. 03.
Power supply direct and dern TV USB port.
Image and sound via HDMI
Data via network cable.
Works fine, until on the performance.
For this reason I bought the raspberry 3 and also the V1. 03 installed, the performance is cool.
Now I have the problem that he freezes again and again, I’m going to have it, that the USB port provides not enough voltage.
For this reason, I’m trying to disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, to reduce power consumption. Can someone give me a hint how I do that?
Normally a TV USB port supplies around 0.5A. For the pi 3 they advise a 2.5A powersupply. So even though you will disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you are still a long way short. It might work in your situation, but I would recommend a decent power supply.
