Passout protection missing in macOS player?

Ok, maybe I’m being a bit full here bit I simply can’t find this feature on macOS Plex?

I am a Plex Pass Premium User and this is in the settings on the iOS app but I can’t find it anywhere in the macOS app. Am I missing something? Where is the passout protection setting in macOS?

what is passout protection?

It’s supported in the Plex HTPC app for macOS, not the desktop app.

I’m not sure if there are plans to add it to the desktop player, but at this point I’d suspect not.

It is found in apps / clients that support Big Screen viewing. TV’s, ATV etc

Stops playing content if you have fallen asleep ie don’t interact with the screen.

Thanks, I did not know this. I must say I don’t like this app as it feels quite clunky but I will give it a go. At least you solved the mystery.

Also quite the mystery as to why they don’t add this to the desktop app. Would imagine it can’t be that complicated.

Cool. Didn’t know this existed.
