Ok, maybe I’m being a bit full here bit I simply can’t find this feature on macOS Plex?
I am a Plex Pass Premium User and this is in the settings on the iOS app but I can’t find it anywhere in the macOS app. Am I missing something? Where is the passout protection setting in macOS?

what is passout protection?
It’s supported in the Plex HTPC app for macOS, not the desktop app.
We have added a bunch of Player experience features available to Plex Pass subscribers. The account using the playback device must have a Plex Pass or be in a Plex Home where the home admin has a Plex Pass.
Some of the setting options marked as “default” were the existing behaviours and what accounts without a Plex Pass will experience if they have access to the feature at all (non-Plex Pass account do not have access to Skip Intro for example so that default will not affect them )

I’m not sure if there are plans to add it to the desktop player, but at this point I’d suspect not.

It is found in apps / clients that support Big Screen viewing. TV’s, ATV etc
Stops playing content if you have fallen asleep ie don’t interact with the screen.
Thanks, I did not know this. I must say I don’t like this app as it feels quite clunky but I will give it a go. At least you solved the mystery.
Also quite the mystery as to why they don’t add this to the desktop app. Would imagine it can’t be that complicated.
