I would like to play music files from my Win 10 PC wirelessly to a Roku device connected to an stereo receiver using Plex. I can use the Roku Media Server on the TV but when I move the Roku device to the stereo I lose the use of the RMS.
So is it possible to stream from a PC to a Roku to a stereo via Plex, all wirelessly?

In order to stream from the PC to the Roku, the Plex channel on the Roku must be running. Without a screen, this will be hard to do directly. There is a Roku mobile app that can be used to launch a channel on a Roku. You could use that to launch the Plex channel, then you should be able to stream to it from the PC.
Thanks for the reply MovieFan. I thought I’d be able to use the mobile app but for some strange reason it would only open as a remote device when I clicked on the Roku Media Player channel. I finally caved and added an old PC monitor to the set up so I can see the options on a screen.
You can’t cast to the Roku Media Player channel from a Plex app.
