Personal videos in the Photo Library Timeline show incorrectly as taken on Dec 31, 1969

I have a standard Photo Library, and some personal videos are showing up in the Timeline view on “Dec 31, 1969”, however none of those videos actually have that date tagged on them from what I can tell when looking at their file properties. Any suggestions?

A few of them I manually changed the “Originally Available” date to the actual date taken, but the library still shows them in the Timeline for “Dec 31, 1969”.

The new server build released today has a fix that may be related to this. Give it a try and see if the problem persists.

I just tested. It’s fixed now. You just have to remove your Home Library and add it again.

Does it not work if you just “Scan Library Files?”

I tried “Scan Library Files?” but it didn’t work. Probably I had to run “Refresh All Metadata” which is kinda the same as adding again.

Thanks for the tip. Just installed 1.8.0.4109, and re-creating the photo library now after deleting it. I’ll report back once its done if the issue is fixed or not.

UPDATE: Looks like the library is rebuilt now, and I don’t see the problem any longer, so I’d say the new plex version fixed it. Thanks everyone!
