So…had an issue with Looney Tunes, now the same with The Jetsons where the scanner wont pick up meta without forcing it in some way. For Looney Tunes setting Episode ordering to thetvdb (aired) helped but it’s still not scraping all the series data correctly) The Fintstones however which are not locked are fine, all meta and episodes are normal.
Couldn’t figure out why but it now appears that since Looney Tunes and The Jetsons are both locked from editing by thetvdb, and the Flintstones are not - and the Flintstones is not that the lock may be preventing scanning in some way?
Looney Tunes (1930) - {thetvdb-72514}/Specials/S1975E01.mkv isnt valid. You need Looney Tunes (1930) {tvdb-72514}/Season 1975/S1975E01.mkv
Plex was unable to match the file: Sep 01, 2022 16:39:15.455 [0x7f3abf83eb00] WARN - Scanner [Plex TV Series]: unable to find cloud match for item file '/mnt/SDT/Plex/TV/Looney Tunes (1930) - {thetvdb-72514}/Season 1939/S1939E13 Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur.m4v'
I suspect your small but critical naming variations are the source of your problem.
I have: \Looney Tunes {tvdb-72514}\Looney Tunes - S1939E13 - Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur.mp4
The MovieDB usually has a reference to the same show on TVDB in their data which we can use to know where to backfill. However since the show is totally gone the reference is gone.
You need movieDb account to see this screen but the reference would be here for example
Well, in some ways I can’t blame them for removing it. It has been a struggle to keep people from messing up the TVDB data. Unlike a lot of TV series where it was one and done, many, many, DVD and Blu Ray editions with various episodes have been released.
To the point the original Looney Tunes almost needs its own notes in file naming for directions on how to find proper year and episode numbers for files.
Freaks me out when it doesn’t name all 411 'tunes though…Especially with my PTSD and Executive Dysfunction (ADHD on steroids) issues. Naming them once was hard enough.
