Nope. I do not have encryption services. Thank you Chuck.
Let’s try something?
- Create a new, test, photo share. (Photos-test)
- Give user Plex access to it as you create it
- Copy a few photos from the old to it.
- Create a new Photos (named Photos-test) Library section.
I think we’re seeing interference from DSM’s apps but want to be certain before stating so
Perfect! It did work. So I take you want me to copy all my pictures to this new folder. Delete the old folder once all files are copied, rename the new folder to Photos (from Photos-test), and be happy going forward
Please confirm. Thank you for your help here Chuck! Best Regards
Are you using Photo Station and/or using their default share? I suspect that’s what’s happening.
Simply by moving photos to a non-Synology share, it will resolve.
You can then ADD the new share to your existing photos Library section and move things around.
When done with the moves, REMOVE the pre-defned Synology share reference.
However you want to do it is fine.
I’m not using Photo Station. I installed it in the past (long time ago), however I uninstalled it as well (long time ago as well). Anyhow, I will play with it now since I see this new Photos-test folder works, and I hope this is it for me.
Thank you a lot Chuck for your time and attention to my case. Big time appreciated!
Best Regards
Best of luck… Holler if you need.
