I have a few picture libraries on my Plex server, and those libraries have multiple subfolders. The pictures in those folders used to sort by name. Now - I think - the pictures within subfolders are sorting by date (or possibly type/date) instead - regardless of the sort order chosen for the library. Would it be possible to get those photos to sort by name again? Even better, could the sort option apply to photos as well as the subfolders?
