Following the IOS update, i have lost all ability to remote control PHT from IOS and web devices. Android devices work just fine as remotes however. For IOS and web, the PHT no longer shows up as a device.
Does PHT do something different to IOS/Web then it does to android? If i open and close the app a few times, eventually it’ll show up for use for a few minutes up to an hour and stop working again. Is there a separate process that handles IOS and web controls that may be crashing due to the IOS devices? How can i find out?
…Yeah, this is still ongoing.
Need to restart the PHT applicaiton multiple times a day in order to remotely control it. After a restart, i can control it with the webapp or IOS devices for about a minute or two… then android devices for up to a few hours. Then it just quits showing up to all devices…
I have been having this same issue with plex media server and pht. I typically use my Android phone to connect and after connecting once to pht if I disconnect I cannot reconnect until after I restart the program
server plexmediaserver_0.9.12.13.1464-4ccd2ca_amd64.deb
PHT 1.4.1.469-201505131108
I have tried tolling back to an older plex server 0.9.12.11 and the issue is there so it seems to be on the pht? This is probably the most inconvenient I’ve had with plex so hopefully we can at least get an update that its being looked into.
This has been resolved for me since upgrading to plexmediaserver_0.9.12.18.1520-6833552_amd64.deb
Very disappointed none of this was ever replied to in any of the many threads I saw on these forums regarding it.
