As the title says, can we add the subtitles list to Apple TV’s native player subtitles menu?
The menu is already there when playing just by swiping down, but only with the configured subtitle available to pick from.
Whenever there are multiple subtitles that don’t match, I usually have to leave the player, go to the episode/movie settings, change to another subtitle, leave the menu, play the movie again, wait for the sync and repeat 5 or 6 times depending on the amount of subtitles, until I find the correct one, all while mentally remembering the previously selected subtitle (whenever they have the same language description or lack of it)
Having to do this for every episode on every show quickly becomes frustrating.
I love plex on Apple TV because it leverages tvOS’s native menus and experience. Making the multiple subtitles available from the native and already provided subtitles menu inside the player would improve on the native experience that plex already provides.
