I’ve had Plex for several years but about 6 months ago i started getting messages that my server wasn’t strong enough to transcode and/or my network wasn’t fast enough. I’ve upgraded my router, hardlined everything and i’m still getting these messages. Funny thing is i can use a different method (DLNA) on an old fire stick using wifi and i’m able to play the videos directly from my NAS. I even added plex server to my laptop (1050i video card, i7 processor, 32GB RAM, 500GB SSD, etc - it’s not sluggish) and i’m getting similar results. any ideas on what plex upgrade could’ve caused this to occur?
Update: i can CAST without issue to any device in my house and yet it claims the network is too slow…?
Update 2: I’ve since switched to Kodi and everything works perfectly. Plex apps just don’t work. Really regretting my lifetime pass purchase.
