When playing a movie that has multiple copies (for example: A DVD rip and a recorded from live TV version) where the length differs a little, the length of the movie reported in the playback bar may be incorrect…
For example:
- The rip of my Ex Machina DVD is 1h 48m.
- The recording from Live TV contains adverts and is a fraction under 2h 10m.
However, the playback bar shows 1:48:00 remaining at the start of the movie and means I cannot fast forward to check out the credits again, in the recorded version, or rewind because I want to re-watch a scene, after the 1h 48m mark.
Unfortunately I have to seek to 1h 48m and wait for the playback to reach the section of the movie I want to watch, which could be 15 minutes away, so it is incredibly frustrating 
Once playback is past 1h 48m, the position indicator keeps incrementing but the time remaining remains at 0:00.
I see this issue in the Samsung Tizen, XBox One and Plex HTPC clients that I use so assume it affects the other Web TV clients that share the same code base.
