This solution seems to work:
Long story short:
- Set your server to allow insecure connections (I set it to prefer secure ones but still allow insecure ones)
- Set your client to allow insecure connections to “always”.
Of course, this is rather a workaround than an actual solution, but since I dont really use PLEX from outside my home, this is totally fine.
