Playback fail with Plex addon for Kodi on Shield

I could really use some help getting anything to play with the Plex addon for Kodi. I can’t get anything to play within the Plex addon for Kodi, it connects to my PMS and shows all the content but everything I try to play fails playback. Not just 4k, regular 1080p and lower content.

My PMS is on my Nvidia shield along with Kodi and my content is hosted locally on my nas. The native Plex app for shield plays my content, but the only reason I just don’t use the native Plex app is because I constantly get lip sync issues with it and my content takes a very long time to load.

I can however get my content to play in Kodi with the Plexkodiconnect addon, with plexkodiconnect my content loads almost instantly but my content will not play with the official Plex addon for Kodi.

I could really use some help. I’ve been trying for months on my own and reading forum posts with no luck. Not a single user or Plex support staff has offered any insight.

Just not sure how the standalone Plex client works, plexkodiconnect works, but the official Plex addon for Kodi won’t.

Bumping, surely I can’t be the only person on the entire planet to have this issue.
