I have an odd issue that’s lasted through at least the last 6 months of Plex server builds. I’ll start to playback an episode, it starts and about 5 seconds later it freezes with the warning about not enough bandwidth, even though these are local clients on hardwired network.
Sometimes, like a minute later it starts playing again and plays without issue. I noticed this on 3 of my four Plex servers. Restarting the Plex server resolves the issue. When comparing the 4 servers I realized the three in question were using hardware transcoding, disabling this fixes the issue. The three builds have different graphics, one Nvidia, one amd and the third Intel.
Anyone run into this issue?
