I am only playing one video and it’s constantly stop playing with the massage “Playback has stopped due to multiple playback errors”.
I don’t know if is a problem with Plex Media Server or the Plex Roku Channel.
I have try with the Roku Plex preview channel and the official channel and it constantly stop playing that video. I downgrade Plex Media Server to 1.19.3.2764 and still have the problem.
I play the same video with Jellyfin and it play without a problem.
Server Version#: 1.19.3.2793
Player Version#: Roku Plex preview channel 6.5.4 and official channel 6.5.3.
I include the log
Hey Rickytin! One of my clients is having the same problem. We’ve been experiencing Transcode errors, errors like yours, and others. This issue started a month ago. Nothing has been done differently. Assuming something is going on with the last few updates. We’ve got to the point where I reloaded Plex on his server. I’ve replicated my Plex settings on his Plex server and seems to improved a lot more than it did, but still have some issues. Hopefully Plex developers are looking into this. I’m running out of options.
Another video stop and if I put manny videos in pause I have the same problem “Playback has stopped due to multiple playback errors” .
Please Plex team help.
Now I am in preview PMS version 1.19.5.2861 and I still have the same problem “Playback has stopped due to multiple playback errors” also if I pause the video it stop and give me the problem.
Can somebody from Plex help.
I have same problems, on Chromecast, on samsung TV and on android phone.
Same error. Have tried to reinstall, server and apps on phone.
Also the player on same PC where the Server is installed refuse to work.
Update:
It looks like the problem persist if subtitles are set to txt-tv subtitles, if I untick that it - at least at the moment - works. The funny part is I have subtitles …
Maybe I’ll watch that movie another day… now it’s 1:14 in night, I started around 20:00… goodnight…
I experienced this same problem and noticed I could resolve it temporarily by rebooting my NAS (which was hosting Plex). I say temporarily because the problem would return in a day or two. This led me to suspect the NAS default memory (2 GB) had become insufficient (since Plex has been growing the app over time). The reboot was probably freeing up memory.
After upgrading to my NAS to 8 GB, the problem appears to have gone away. This was a month ago or so.
Plex probably needs to do a better job at memory management or change their spec for min. memory.
