Playback jittering after 45+ minutes

Curious if anyone else has had this issue with Chromecast with Google TV. It’s a non-hdr tv, I have match frame rate off in the chromecast settings and I have debug disabled and direct stream disabled on the plex server. These have been my settings for the past 6-8 months and I’ve had no issues previously. Within the past week or two, after about 45 minutes to an hour of playback time, video starts to stutter / get jittery and it progressively gets worse. Once I stop the video and resume playback, it’s fine but it will happen again.

Please refrain from discussing any network issues, I have 0 issues on many other devices playing Plex (including an ATV connected to the same TV but that suffers from poor audio sync with certain files) and other apps play fine from Chromecast, it is limited to Plex & Chromecast. Curious if there is a hidden setting inside Plex or Chromecast that is causing the issue.

I purchased 2 Chromecast Google TV HD on Black Friday and noticed this issue on both.
After about 25 minutes or more motion becomes jittery/jerky. This affects MKV and MP4 of varying bitrates x264 and x265 basically all video.
Server and clients are all up to date and lasted versions
I have a fire TV 4K Max, Fire TV light and a TCL Roku TV all running Plex and this issue does not occur.
I’ve have tried multiple settings on the server and client with no success.
It seems to be an issue between plex and the Chromecast TV HD as Prime, Netflix etc don’t seem to have this issue.

Any help and possible solution would be greatly appreciated.
