Purchased plex for 5 bucks a year ago and use it on five different iPads or fire sticks and only one of those is now asking me to pay in order to watch movies I’m streaming. I get the limited payback error and it’s asking me to pay. What changed The last few weeks for it to only happen on 1 of the 5 devices I have logged in on my account.
Once the app is activated, Plex doesn’t impose further restrictions as long as you’re using the same Plex Account and iTunes account. If you use the app via Family Sharing, there’s a restriction of the number of family members who can install it (according the App Store homepage it’s 6 family members).
You might want to check if you need to restore your in-app purchase on the device in question:
