Hi,
I am using plex on my samsung tizen TV and after what I guess is an app update, the TV will now no longer play subtitles. Without subs the show will play no problem, if I select subtitles the images will not load and eventually time out.
The same show will work with subtitles from my laptop, iPhone and 'droid tablet…
Is anyone else seeing the same problem.
I have the same issue when I enable a PGS subtitle.
SRT subtitles work fine.
Same for me. Thought it was only for me!
I either have to do a full OCR to SRT, or optimize video to be able to play with non-SRT subtitles.
But it’s not only subtitles; any transcoding will fail… 
(If I choose a different quality to play, so that video transcodes, it will fail.)
But transcoding work fine for Android, web and chromecast…
