Playback of Multi-episodes in one file

So Plex nicely shows the different episode info when properly named S01E01-E02, etc, but it basically plays the full file twice in a row vice just the episodes.

If we could manually enter a time-frame reference in the file info, perhaps that would solve the issue.
e.g. Once Plex creates the individual listings (i.e. change S01E01-E02 into S01E01 and S01E02) we could further define the file by going into file info and adding (S01E01 TIMEREFERENCE 00:00-00:30, S01E02 TIMEREFERENCE 00:30 - 01:00)

Wouldn’t it be easier to split the episodes…
That’s what I do unless it is actually one episode but listed as 2…

What you are looking for works when playing the files from plex.tv. But for what ever reason, does not work when playing the same files on the Nvidia Shield or Roku. From plex.tv if you play a file that is S01E01E03, it will play epsiode 1, 2 and 3, then play the next file with S01E04E05 for example.

+1
with intro detection, i don’t know if they can use it for detect split from multiples episodes
