Hi, this has been an ongoing issue for years… will it ever be resolved? Both my 2018 and 2024 LG TVs do not correctly playback PMS recorded TV shows. When a skip commercial button is clicked, the playback stops and goes into an almost endless buffering stage. If you manually try and skip ahead in the playback, it will not start playing when trying to resume playback. The only way to watch the recorded show is to never skip a commercial. No problem with playback with other videos, it’s only PMS recorded content. Is this because of poor recording ability on Mac version of PMS or LG player problem?

This still a huge problem and seems to be getting worse. As previously noted this has been going on for a couple of years across different LG TV models for me. Now nothing that is recorded will play back. Along with all the other playback errors reported here, is Plex doing nothing at all to improve the quality of this player on LG TVs?
Now gotten worse. No recordings can be played back without getting a playback error message. The fact that there’s no response from Plex about it acknowledgedes the problem they seem to want to go away. I’m tired of posting about obvious problems with no response. My advise to anyone reading this is to stay away from Plex.
I have since uninstalled this garbage app. Now using KODI to play the recordings which is must smoother.
Attention PLEX: This lack of quality and continued downhill trend of your app will certainly lead you to going out of business.
