Playback of Videos only after second try?

Hi there,
i’m using Plex as Service on my Dell T20 on Windows 2016. As player, i use different devices - 2 FireTVs, an Apple TV and iOS-tablets.
I’m having a little issue with the playback of a Season in SD, MPEG2, and i don’t know if someone else has the same problem:
If i start playing a episode (no matter if AppleTV or one of my FireTVs) in ca. 90% of all tries the playback starts with a black screen and a loading-button. The Plex server recognizes the playback.
Sometimes, the loading circle doesn’t dissapear. Sometimes, i get the screen, as if i watched a episode to the end and get the next episode displayed (counting down from 10 …).
If i stop the playback and start it again, in 100% of all trys it works without a problem. I switched to the beta-releasechannel to check, if the problem is maybe fixed in the beta - but it still persists.

Has anyone an idea, how i get around this issue? What can i do?

That’s the new Feature Plex has researched and developed:

The Plex Patented Sight Saver Feature for AFTV and Android Users.

Many times, as Plex has discovered through painstaking research, Plex Users simply don’t know what they want to watch. Plex has added the ‘Keep Hammering Away At the Remote’ Filter, just so you’re sure you want to watch that which Plex has decided is crap.

Hey, Man… they’re your eyeballs… watch it if you must, but when your eyeballs liquefy and run down your cheeks don’t say Plex hasn’t warned you, and given you ample opportunity to back out.
