Playback stalls when resuming playback

I have had this issue for some time, over the last 2 or three PMS server updates.I pause a video during playback, and leave the playback paused for a period of time (maybe a half hour). When I resume playback, it appears to play out whatever is in the buffer, it then halts playback, and I get the buffering wheel. Playback never resumes on it’s own. In most cases I need to go to the plex home, play a different video for a second, then go back to the video I was playing. After that playback is fine. The player is on a wired connection with a gigabit connection to the server.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I have almost the same issue on my smartTV LG connect on my LAN (1 Gbps)

The first video I play failed to buffer after 15-20 minutes
I need to stop the video and run it again, it propose me to continue where I was, and it’s ok
After this issue, I can look any videos I want, I no more have the buffering issue.

This issues occurs whatever the video resolution, it could be 480p, 720p, 1080p or 2160p

But only on the first video I play after run “Plex for LG”
