Playback Stopped Error with 4K Content - Plex Asking to Adjust Quality

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with Plex where I randomly get a “Playback Stopped” message, saying that another user has asked to stop my playback. It also prompts me to adjust the video quality settings to “Maximum” or “Original” for streaming 4K content.

“” asked to stop your playback from this server. To play 4K content, please setyour video quality settings for remote/internet streaming to Maximum/Original.

I’ve already tried:

•	Setting local and remote streaming quality to “Maximum” and “Original.”
•	Ensuring Direct Play and Direct Stream are enabled.
•	Testing my connection (it’s fast enough for 4K streaming).

Still, the issue persists. I suspect it could be related to transcoding limitations, bandwidth, or the media server setup, but I can’t seem to nail down a solution.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice on resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
