Playback stuck in pause state when playing HDR video on SDR TV

Whenever I play 4K HDR on Apple TV 4K which is connected to a 4K SDR TV, it loads immediately but will remain paused. Pressing play just pauses it immediately after. This does not appear to be a buffering issue.

Old player or new player? could you reproduce the bug and immediately after get the logs for me? (Instructions: Apple TV Logs | Plex Support)

I just noticed that you responded. It appears to be on the old player, OR if automatically adjust quality is enabled. On the new player, playback is severely stuttery. I ended up switching to Infuse because of it. I’ll see if I can get the logs this weekend.
