Hi, what about the music? When i asked: Alexa ask plex “artist”, it plays music to my nexus player but not from the echo spot itself. When i ask alexa to plex to change the player, it just keep saying only one player (nexus player) it detected. I want to use echo spot speakers. Does it makes sense?

I would really like to be able to use my Echo Show to see Plex content! Plex plugins might actually allow Plex to stream YouTube over to the Echo Show and Spot and enable them to play third party content. That would be awesome!

I also would love to have video streaming on my echo show. What if the show required some level of transcode? Even if down to 480p?

ugh, lack of video support on the Echo Show is exceedingly frustrating. :-/

It’s a real shame Plex doesn’t play video on echo show without hacking around it using a web browser solution, the device is obviously capable otherwise Prime Video wouldn’t be playing seemlessly.
