Plex Media Server on Nvidia Shield
Opened Plex app on Android and screencasted directly from the app to Chromecast 2
Media file: 1080p, AC3 5.1, HEVC x265, MKV
Subtitles: SRT in UTF-8 without BOM
Playback freezes after about 8 minutes of playing this file and other similar files. Some files are played fine without freezeing. Error shown is some codec error h4. It’s necessary to go back 10 second or restart the playback. Happens again after another cca 20 or 30 minutes or randomly.
The size of displayed subtitles sometimes changes after the freezing - maybe a change in direct playback vs. transcoding so subtitles are handled differently?
Attaching logs, the error first appeared at the time of 8:29 of the video which was at around 9:03 pm.
