I have Plex Media Server running on my FreeNAS. I have had no issues with the server at all. I have the client player installed on multiple devices, but in and out of my network. The ONLY device I’ve had this particular issue on is on my other half’s PS4, which is at her place. She’ll login and text me the PIN. I enter the PIN to get the device authorized and it works. However, as soon as she logs out of the PS4, the next time she attempts to use Plex, it gives her another PIN to be authorized… My son also used Plex when he’s at his mom’s with his laptop, and it’s never had the issue…
I’ve trolled the forms until I’ve gone cross-eyed, and I haven’t been able to find any mention of this problem… Any ideas?

ChuckPa… I did not “cross post”… I have two separate issues with plex. And if you’re going to try and tell me that those issues may have already been discussed, perhaps if your forums were better organized so people could find issues that have been discusses, there wouldn’t be a need for people to ask things more than once…
As it is, from what I’m seeing on my page right now, I see NOTHING that looks like a link that could get me an answer to my issues… If you happen to feel that they have already been answered, could you be so kind as to post a link to the other discussions on my issues? Oh, and please provide two links, one for each of my issues…
If your other half is actually logging out on the Plex appb or on the ps4 account, this is the result. Sorry but that’s the way the ps4 works. Is there a reason they have to log out?

With respect to the device logging into the PS 4 and needing a PIN, since I am unfamiliar with it (don’t own one), Does it have any kind of ‘remember me’?
I ask because the PS4 isn’t a ‘generally mainstream’ player. Yes, it’s there but I am uncertain how much attention it’s actually getting.
