Samsung Tab 8 and Samsung Galaxy s21a. Both phone and tablet won’t play videos on plex for longer than a minute. No error message. Video plays fine for that minute then stops and returns to the previous page. Works fine on my Samsung smart TV app and the app on my windows PC. It is only my mobile devices. High speed Wifi only and no mobile data used so it’s not the ISP.

There’s a 1 minute limit on the free mobile app
To disable that, you either need a Plex Pass, or a one-time activation

That’s terrible. The prompt that appears makes it seem like i would only have to pay if I wanted to cast from my mobile devices to another. Like screen mirroring. Guess I’ll just uninstall my mobile apps then… totally pointless if I can’t access my media server with it.
