I am still unable to play Plex playlists containing Tidal music via Sonos. This is a known issue that has persisted for some time, as evidenced by the response from @johnclayton more than a year ago here: Plex, Tidal, and Sonos
And then another post here that went completely unanswered: Can't Add a Playlist to Sonos (TiDAL issue?)
Plex, I love the Plex Media Server. It is not perfect, but it is pretty good. But letting issues like this persist for so long is just not excusable. More than that, there is (as far as I can tell) no mention of this on a known issues page. In fact, I had trouble even locating a known issues page.
You touted your Sonos integration - so I went out and invested in Sonos. You touted Tidal integration - so I subscribed to Tidal. And you know what? We enjoy both Sonos and Tidal. And we enjoy them together. But you know what we can’t enjoy? Plex and Tidal and Sonos together.
I know resources are always limited and prioritization decisions have to be made, but when you advertise a new feature or a new integration, make sure it is at least mostly baked. And then follow through.
Shame on you.
