You can rearrange the items in a playlist.

• regular playlists should show an option to drag items around
• smart playlists can be configured to use a different sort order when you edit their filter criteria.

There’s an existing feature suggestion to allow sort options for regular playlists too.

Playlist sorting and searching feature request

I’d like to ask for the feature that would allow for searching and sorting of playlists. Being able to select what fields act as sortable column headers would be a great tweak as well.

Similarly, there’s an existing feature suggestion to prevent duplicate tracks from being added.

Plexamp: prevent duplicates in playlist

When adding music to playlist in plexAmp it should warn against adding duplicates. (Song title & artist) same title by different artist is ok. Also make it easier to sort items in playlist. Overall, I love plex amp! Keep it coming!

The final thing I miss is while listening to the playlist is being able to remove a song from the playlist as it’s playing if I don’t want it in there anymore

You can already do that using the regular play queue or smart playlists
