If I update a music playlist, it shows up correct on server/web and Roku player, but neither of my windows devices (PC & phone) shows the updated playlist? any suggestions?
@elvincentjr I’m not able to reproduce this. I can do the following successfully:
- Create a playlist called **Test **from Web
- View it in Windows app by clicking on the Playlist > heading on the main page, then on the playlist
- See that it shows the correct episodes. Press the back button at the top left to close the playlist.
- In web, delete a few episodes.
- In the Windows app click the playlist again, and all of the deleted items are gone.
Maybe you can give me more detail?
@roguecode I appreciate the attempt but figured out what it is, somewhat user error. when you select a playlist, a set number of songs show up initially, and not able to scroll through the entire list. Thanks
Ah ok. We load a window of items around the one you are playing to make the loading faster and reduce bandwidth usage.
Now that Plex has copied my iTunes playlists, when I modify a playlist on iTunes it is not updating in Plex. How do I update these playlists?
I am having the same or similar problem. Running OS 10.11.6 and current Plex server and players. After initial sync of music libraries, I created playlists in both iTunes and on Plex server, even after complete scan and refresh playlist shows in server (computer) but does not show on player (iPhone as remote). Songs and Movies are accessible via player on remote device- just not playlists. What am I missing?
Server: Version 1.14.1.5488
Web Player: 3.77.4
Same problem here. After initial library creation in Plex, pointing to ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music, and selecting Import Playlists, new playlists in iTunes aren’t updated in Plex even after forcing a manual library rescan.
