Using the shuffle button on a playlist in 7.24.0.13247 results in it picking a random track in the playlist, however it then proceeds to play the rest of the album tracks from that initial random track. For instance I have a 60’s music playlist. I hit shuffle on the list and it starts to lay the Beatles (Best of), if you look at the upcoming song list they are all from that one album with no other albums visible.
Thanks for reporting the issue @Stephen3001, the team is aware of the issue and it should be fixed soon.
Thanks @jesusmc, happy to help.
Just to add some more information, it appears Playlists are broken. Even if I don’t hit shuffle, but just hit play, the first track in the playlist gets played, then subsequently the album from which the track was taken from.
If you play a song in the playlist and it is from an album that only has one track on it, the playlist track is played, then playback stops.
Hope this helps.
The team has been working on a fix for it and we hope to release it in the next beta. Thanks for your help
Hey @jesusmc,
Just testing the latest Beta 7.24.0.13291. Shuffle seems to work again. The only problem I can see now is the Track info for the first track played is incorrect. Subsequent tracks appear to be correct., it is only the first track info and artwork.
Thanks for the report, the team is aware of the issue and it should be fixed in next beta.
