For months now, when shuffling a playlist on either Samsung TV or Fire Stick, when an episode completes, it will not advance to the next episode. It is just black screen. If you push a button on the remote it will show the progress bar for the episode that just finished as if everything is still normal. You can hit forward and it will start the next episode easily. But it won’t advance on its own like it should. It is very frustrating to have to keep going back to hit forward to start the next episode, especially if it happens while I’m trying to fall asleep.
I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled a few times. I’ve reset the app. I’ve tried multiple playlists. But it still happens nearly every episode it plays. Please help. Logs below are only for the Samsung TV, but I can add Fire Stick logs if desired.

Can you please provide these. That player is totally different than the Samsung app. There is potential that they are both having similar issues, but also could be an issue with the server . If a server issue it would be good if the devs can compare the requests. Does it work fine in the Web app in browser?
Here are two Fire Stick logs, both should capture the glitch. This glitch is only happening on one Samsung TV and one Fire Stick. The other Samsung TVs and other Fire Sticks (and one Roku TV) do not have this problem. This problem also does not occur in browser or in mobile apps. It’s very strange. As I mentioned, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Plex app on the two malfunctioning devices (one specific Samsung TV and one specific Fire Stick) several times, I’ve reset all the app settings in both, I’ve even tried monkeying with each individual setting to see if one specific setting was tripping it. Can you confirm it is only happening in those two apps/devices? Does it happen in the mobile app or web browser? Are these smart playlists or regular ones you added things to manually. Mostly just want to make sure we are doing the same thing as you to try to reproduce.
Yes, it is only on one Samsung Smart TV’s Plex App and one Amazon Fire Stick’s Plex App. Never happened in the mobile or web browser. Regular manual playlists that I created.
