Do you think their will be any chance of getting an actual Plex app for the PS4. I would gladly pay for this and big bucks as well. Maybe get some kind of kickstarter going if Sony wants to charge to release the app maybe?

Totally agree. It’s would be such a major thing for me to have Plex for PS4 and would gladly pay for it.
Currently using a Mac Mini exclusively just to run Plex which unfortunately has some issues every now and then.
Just for me to be able to sell the Mac would near enough pay for the PS4

Sony does charge to add apps to the market but they are a lot more welcoming than Microsoft with the X bone (google fez 2 not on xbone).
Please make this a Plexpass perc if you have too, but make it for us!
The lack of Plex support and no DLNA is the only thing keeping me from buying a PS4.
Plex would be nice on PS4 but Sony would have to green light it and they may not.
It's no co-indeicance both next gen consoles launched with no local media streaming, that was deemed no longer relevant with internet media streaming now being the number 1 draw.
Sony would score many more brownie points with the hardcore audiance & games websites if they did make Plex available so thats how Plex should sell it to Sony.
I'm interested in this too, I'd pay good money for this.
