Player Version#: I dont know using my fire stick 4k
So i have a basic setup never really changed any major settings or what have you, Everything worked just fine for a long time, but recently not so I believe because of update. my server is running on my pc via wifi and running the app on the firestick connected to the same wifi. everything is signed in properly but next to my server name is a triangle with !, and wont even list my library folders, no less let me connect to them. Ive tried rebooting everything, signing in and out of both the app and server, clearing all the authorized users and starting fresh there. i saw something about making sure that they are both on the same subnet, not sure how to do that but i saw my pc’s but dont kow how to see that setting in the app. please help thankssss
Sounds like a networking issue. Can you see your server outside of your home network, ie: the Internet? Or is this just an internal issue just inside your house?
1st - probably is best to connect your server to ethernet, not WIFI. You will have a better experience.
It is odd, because if turn on remote access, it shows that it is available (with internet0 but after a few seconds it switches to an x and says no internet… I checked the port settings on my router (Using wireless from optimums supplied router), ands as far as I could tell everything seemed to be ok. Has the Upnp and it looked to me that the ports created where all ok…
