Please help - no option to add folder when creating library

Hi - I am new to plex and it was set up by someone else. It currently reads from my cloud hard drive and seems to have one main library called “movies”. I am trying to add a library called “kids movies” to read from my “kids movies” folder on my hard drive. Unfortunately when I go to add a library in plex it doesn’t give me an option to read from this specific folder. All the tutorials I see online have this option and it’s really frustrating that for some reason I do not!
Is this a common issue?..perhaps my plex was setup in a specific way to not allow this functionality? Thank you for any help!

That’s a restriction of the WD MyCloud Home devices.
You can only use the pre-defined libraries on them.

So what are my options then? I created a “Shared Kids Movies” folder on my mycloud hard drive. Can I not read from that folder or adjust something?

You cannot create a separate library for your kids movies.
You will have to add the movies into your regular movie library.

Or get a different NAS device.
Or run the Plex server on your PC instead.
