Please Help! Someone hacked my Plex Server on Windows

Server Version#: 1.28.2.6151

After the recent security breach, someone has hacked my Plex Media Server on Windows and changed the account email and password to their own. I am still able to access my server by using my linked Google account but I’m unable to reset the email because it requires a password. All forums I’ve found to reclaim my server are for Linux. Password recovery email is sent to the hackers email address. Plex sent me an email when the change initially occurred but the link has since expired. I would just delete the account and set it up from scratch but I have a Plex Lifetime Pass and don’t wont to lose it. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Someone from Plex will have to help with your account. Try contacting the billing department. Link is at the bottom of the page.

In the meantime, shutdown your server to prevent the hacker from changing settings, deleting media, etc.

After you regain control of your account, if you need to reclaim your server, see Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support.

You’ll need to remove some Windows Registry settings. That will place your server in an unclaimed state.

You can then reclaim it via http://127.0.0.1:32400/web or http://localhost:32400/web.

@Sikbubblgm Do check DM, since as @FordGuy61 said, we need to regain control here
