Can someone help me I trying to get the subtitles to work and they are not !!! I have selected and added my account to the agent OpenSubtitles.org and it shows after I refreshed my metadata and its in the subtitles list saying English-external.srt but when I select it nothing happens ? any ideas ?
thank you for you’re reply ,I’m still lost Im using plex on my Mac book and I selected OpenSubtitles.org in agents and selected a language then I refreshed library and now in the movie options it shows that I have subtotals but when I select them nothing shows up ??? do I manually have to download subtitles for every movie or does the OpenSubtitles.org do it for you ?
yea im selecting it before I start plying the movie and then nothing shows up im playing it through the plex app on my Mac I also have tried it on my ps4 and nothing they work fine if I manually enbed them but I don’t want to have to do that for 3000 movies lol my server is a nas drive a wd my cloud home would this have anything to do with it ?

also I just dropped the file into vlc player and it worked fine and showed the subtitales

and I remover my whole library last week and added it again to see if it would work and it didn’t

One followup question, does PMS save subtitles once they have been downloaded, and then skip over previously downloaded sub files during subsequent scans? Since there is a 200 file limit, I’m just wondering how larger libraries are handled.
