Please help me figure out why I cannot upgrade my server. I am currently running server 1.15… and it gives me the following error when I download the most current version… Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package pms-shutdown.msi in the box below…Use Source:
3C6D43CB-1211-4C3F-8F3C-2B4F90C5BB95}v1.15.876
That’s a almost-two-year-old version. geez…
Have you tried uninstalling it and installing the last version?
In theory, you won’t lose your metadata, but I’m not sure about your case because you are skipping too many versions.
You have probably used an “uninstaller” or a “registry optimizer” software.
Don’t. They do more harm than good.
So two years ago it wouldn’t download the new version but Plex still worked on my Apple TV so I didn’t really care until now, because Plex will not work without a current update. I tried what you said and I also tried to uninstall and neither worked. I have not used a cleaner software. This has been so frustrating.
Please explain in detail what you did.
