Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD No channels found

Hi. I upgraded my Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD to a Hauppauge WinTv-quadHD. When I go to setup I see the new device has been added as two WinTV-quadHD devices with an exclamation warning by each device. The plex documentation says they should show up as two WinTV-dualHD devices so I don’t know if that’s the first problem. I pick the first device, continue, then enable unsupported device. I click on scan channels and afer a few minutes is reports no channels are found. The device was tested on a pc using the hauppauge winTV version 10 app and it works fin. I also tested the antenna to make sure it was working with a tv. I’m not sure if the problem is because plex didn’t recognize the device properly as two WinTV-dualHD devices or that I had to enable the unsupported device.

Any help would be great.

I have gone back and forth a few times now with changing back to my old WinTV-dualHD and the new WinTV-quadHD and it really seems to me that the problem is with proper device identification forcing me to enable unsupported device to scan channels with the WinTV-quadHD. I believe if plexmediaserver properly identified the WinTV-quadHD as two WinTV-dualHD devices as the documentation indicates it should then it would work properly. Again, any help here would be useful.
