What exactly do you mean?
The current public release of the Plex app for Samsung Tizen is version 5.1.2 and the latest preview is version 5.6.1.

Version 3.3.4 dates back to 2018… From what I understood, the Samsung app store does not offer an option to side load apps nor is the app physically installed on the device.

I need an old Plex version for Tizen to download.
My PMS is too old for the current version.
Unfortunately there is no longer a PMS update.

Can someone please upload an old version. Older than plex_samsung_3.66.0_beta.

That’s not going to work based on the nature of how apps work on the Tizen smart tvs.
Your best shots are:

  • upgrade your Plex Media Server
  • use a different client for Plex, e.g. by adding an entry-level streaming box or stick to your tv… keep in mind all newer versions of Plex clients have recently increased their minimum server version requirement (should be 1.18.3 soon on all apps). On an Android box it should however be possible to side load an old version from the links in the release announcements.

Unfortunately there is no upgrade for my NAS.
The last version was the plexmediaserver-0.9.16.6.1993-5089475-arm.bin

The plex_samsung_3.66.0_beta version I could easily play on my TV. Unfortunately, this one also needs a newer PMS version.

For this reason, I am looking for an older Plex client version.

Can please upload someone an older version. Thank you
