been having issues for awhile where i scan my anime section and it just crashes my whole pc and nothing overheats nothing is oc and i also have 2 other categories movies and tv shows to where it doesn’t do this with but ive made 2 anime sections and it still does it to both and i try to add just one folder at time and sometimes it works and others it just crashes a min or 2 into it and doesn’t finish detecting the credits or intros any help would be greatly appreciated

Server logs should be more telling than that snippet of browser/app logs.
Make sure to enable debug level but disable verbose logging before reproducing the issue and checking the logs for errors.

im pretty good with computers i just dont see the reason why it does complete black screen and i have different HDD drives and it does it on all of them but not when it comes to moives or tv shows and its weird cause some of the anime will be ok when i add them and others will not no matter how many times i take it off and readd it and i tried to analyze it after to detect the intros but it just scans for less than a second and goes away and when i do the ep itself it does it for 5 seconds and sometimes it does work but thats so rarely not sure its with plex its self in that case

Your logs are set to verbose - that means there’s only approx. 1 hour worth of information. Unless your system crashed in that 1-hour window, the logs will not show it.

  1. Go to Settings > [Server Name] > General
  2. Keep Enable Plex Media Server debug logging checked but disable Enable Plex Media Server verbose logging
  3. When you experience the crash, download a new set of logs when your server had time to fully restart (give it 5 minutes after you’ve restarted it).

yes this was mins less than 5 for sure when i had repeated the update and then uploaded the file
