A while back a person responded to my request to run multiple PSM’s. Saying I don’t need to have a backup. Well today I found out that my one PC didn’t record any shows on Sunday and Monday. I got no indication that there was some kind of problem. Isn’t some kind of notification supposed to let me know that there was a failure. It was interesting yesterday I looked at the DVR schedule for Monday, and 6 shows were to be recorded. Monday night I noticed that the system would not shut down because it was recording a program that started at 8:00PM it is now 11:50PM. So I stopped the recording. The next morning, I noticed that the activity icon was spinning. When I clicked on the Icon it said that it was still recording the program from 8:00PM last night. I could not stop the activity. I ended up rebooting the system.
When looking thru the logs I finally found an error the I needed to check the Antenna. The cable going to the failing PC had become disconnected from the splitter.
